When he's not away on set, Ross is actively involved with a number of projects that draw upon his extensive repertoire of acting and writing talents. Read on to find out more...

Fans of big-screen historic epics, Ross is heavily involved with the screen rewrite of his original screenplay, Glyn Dwr - now under the working title Rebellion. This original work was penned by Ross whilst he was still on tour with the Rocky Horror Show. Ross spent most of his spare time writing this exciting tale chronicalling the life of the famous Welsh historical figure, Owain Glyn Dwr (c.1355 - c.1415).

Owain Glyn Dwr led a Welsh revolt against the English crown between 1400 and 1409 and was the last true Welsh nobleman to claim the title of independent Prince of Wales. It is a gripping personal tale of greed, heroism and a divided family that - through a series of eye-popping and bloody battles - grows to epic proportions leading to its powerful and poignant conclusion.

Ross' original script was very quickly snapped up by Producer Mark Pegg and was later rewritten by acclaimed BAFTA and Emmy award-winning Hollywood director and screen writer, Selwyn Roberts. Selwyn has been involved with many successful Hollywood productions including Shackleton starring Kenneth Branaugh and King Arthur starring Clive Owen and Kiera Knightly. This exciting project has attracted a large number of high-profile movie industry names including Kenneth Branaugh, Carl Frances, Hugh Penalt Jones and the Film Council of Wales.
