From Cadburys chocolate to the irrepressible Pot Noodle, tasty thai snacks to car insurance specifically for women, Ross has been the face of some of the most recogniseable brands on television.

Ross' first experience of working on television commercials came in 2001 when he appeared as the lead actor in a zany, off the wall advertisement for the popular Polish drinks brand, Zywiec Beer. Directed by Grahem Rose, the advertisement highlighted Ross' sporting abilities as he tackled deep snow and treacherous conditions on a snow board. Ross was later to work with Grahem again on a commercial for well-known car insurance brand, Sheila's Wheels.

More recently, Ross became the face of the well-known Pot Noodle brand. Heading up the start of a massive television and internet promotional spend worth over £10 million, Ross starred in a series of commercials highlighting a reduction in the product's salt content and to promote the brands' tie-in with the popular ITV talent show, The X-Factor.

Pushing his baratone singing voice in a direction less familiar than some would expect, Ross played the role of Welsh Pot Noodle miner and 'il castrato' Gareth - a character that proved popular amongst the viewing public for his on-screen charisma, humour and glass-shattering singing voice! The success of the Pot Noodle campaign once again highlighted Ross' talent and natural ability to portray a diverse range of memorable characters, effortlessly building rapport with the viewing public within the constraints of commercial productions.

In 2010, Ross joined the campaign targetting abuse against women with his appearance in a hard-hitting advert spearheaded by the Welsh Assembly Government. Broadcast across Wales, the advert One Step Too Far shows "abusive" behaviour towards a woman, challenging men to abandon 'demeaning' attitudes. In the opening scene of the advert, Ross plays a loud-mouthed workman in a van heckling a young woman as the vehicle passes her on the street. Other scenes show a male office colleague ogling her and two strangers in a bar making suggestive remarks as she passes.
